"Of course, I am a good husband" is the first thought that must have occurred to you (if you are a husband yourself). Let us test you.

Love Me Love Me Not

So every time you want to do something for your self like go to a match or a night out with your friends and suddenly your better half comes and says you need to get suited as she preplanned a wine tasting, cheese tasting or something equivalently droll What will you do?

What do you do when your wife forces you to go somewhere when you already have plans of your own

  • Go on with your plans
  • Give her the option of letting you continue with her plans
  • Decide to go along on with her plan in your pajamas
  • Get suited & put on your happy face even though you do not want to go
  • Inform her of your event weeks earlier so it would not clash with any of her plans

To Gift Or Not To Gift

So your wife's birthday, your wedding anniversary or any event is around the corner. Your wife has been putting subtle hints of that necklace she has fallen in love with. What will you do?

Will you buy her the gift she wants for the event?

  • Conveniently forget the event
  • Buy her a gift of your choice
  • Buy her a household appliance or anything useful for home
  • Buy her that necklace
  • You can not afford the necklace instead you take her out to a decent place, have a romantic evening and buy her flowers or chocolates

The three words that no husband wants to listen to and specially no husband wants to have to answer to. What do you do?

How to handle this situation?

  • Not at all darling
  • Yes, you are a cow
  • No dear, I signed you up for gym
  • I think both of us have gained weight, let's join the gym together, this way I can spend more time with my darling

You Scream, I Scream

You barely enter the house and your wife has literally exploded you with the troubles that ailed her today, whether it is the kids, the neighbours, that lady she hates etc. She is being unreasonable and not even allowing you to breathe. What do you do?

Willing to listen to her complaints?

  • You tell her you have a headache and are too tired to listen
  • You tell her to shut up and she should learn to deal things on her own
  • You nod your head like a bobble head doll on everything she says even though you barely heard a word
  • You let her know that all this discussion in the beginning of your marriage that after a cup of tea/coffee/beer you will listen to all that she has to say .

She labours all day for you or does something special and obviously manages to raise her expectations of what your reaction and comments will be like. Are you aware of this landmine?

hmmm..good presentation style, effective and attractive!!! i think a good husband style must be depend on a good wife behavior. maybe am wrong, but it will be depend on both side, fabulous hub.
